BIO/ STATEMENT:
Since 2005, Zuzanna Fogtt has organized a number of international festivals, seminars, conferences and educational projects such as TILDE – Polish Experimental Music In Scandinavia // Talk: Polish Radio Experimental Studio in Oct 2015. She is the chief curator of the annual events Sanatorium Sound festival and the International Sokolovsko Festival of Ephemeral Art.
She is the co-founder and President of the Contemporary Art Foundation In Situ located in Sokołowsko, a historical health resort town. In Situ’s mission is to promote innovative artistic approaches and projects in the fields of visual arts, film and sound as well as protect cultural and artistic heritage. Current projects include restoring and transforming the burned down historical“Dr. Brehmer Sanatorium” into a Laboratory of Visual Arts and a Film Lab. In 2015, In Situ launched under Fogtt’s supervision the Krzysztof Kieślowski Archive website and the Hommage a Kieślowski Sokołowsko Film Festival showcasing the oeuvre of this major Polish film director.
