Under the guidance of Residency Unlimited, Anne Percoco maintained a studio at chashama's Brooklyn Army Terminal space, during which time she pursued site- and community-based projects in addition to studio-based work. Percoco's artistic process is grounded in local observation and research and manifests qualities such as resourcefulness, curiosity, responsiveness, and playfulness. Residency Unlimited's emphasis on providing specialized assistance, local knowledge, and contacts proved to be absolutely essential for such work.
We are grateful to Chashama for providing a subsidized studio for Anne’s residency within the framework of Residency Unlimited’s partnership.
