Residency Unlimited is pleased to announce its collaborative partnership with More Art, whose mandate is to develop public art initiatives in the Chelsea area through interaction between its residential communities and artists. Together, we plan to activate each year a project based residency. International artists will be actively participating in Chelsea and in other parts of New York through a series of workshops, events and exhibitions.
In June, this collaborative effort between Residency Unlimited and More Art is launched with Ana Prvacki’s residency in New York. Based between Singapore and the USA, the outcome of Prvacki’s stay is the ‘Wandering Band” performance set on the High Line Site on June 11,12,13 in New York. This project is supported by the LMCC Manhattan Community Art Fund and the National Arts Council of Singapore.
