Program Description:

Scene:Bluss is part of PIT, Porsgrunn International Theatre Festival.

Scene:Bluss has existed for 15 years and has always been an experimental platform to show and talk about work. Its a festival within the festival. A place to test and share ideas.

The prophecy says that in 2018 the Hellmouth will open in Porsgrunn. We need to gather forces and prepare! Scene:Bluss – The Hellmouth edition (2018) will be a week long LARP (Live Action Role Playing) / immersive theatre happening developed in the form of episodes, based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Buffyverse. Porsgrunn will become Sunnydale, with Sunnydale High, The Bronze and everything that will devour us from beneath. And we will be the Scooby-gang, the demons, the helpers and the betrayers.

As a preparation for that we invite you to the workshop “I may be dead, but I’m still pretty” lead by Jassem Hindi.

«I may be dead, but I’m still pretty»
June 14th – 17th
This workshop is a preparation for the end of the world. We’re talking Ul’thar vampires, grocery shopping, telepath demons, Sunnydale swimming team, first day at school type of apocalypse. But if we stick it together, we can face all dangers. We will learn how to build weapons, throw curses, incarnate demons, make a musical, not fall in love with Spike and die repeatedly. Bring your stakes, pyjamas and fav’ music posters.

The workshop will be held at the loft in Storgata 148, in the city center of Porsgrunn.

In addition to the workshop there will be a pop-up demon bar, dungeon party style, and other interventions.

The workshop will be held in English
