Eligibility: APPLICATIONS Send proposal before or on Sunday the 20th of august to: ​​ ​ Include in your application: 1. CV (max 2 A4 pages), a short bio (max 1000 characters) and link to your website. 2. A short (max 3000 character) proposal where you present yourself and your work and outline your motivation for wanting to participate and any ideas you may have for what you want to explore, but do not a project description! 3. Six images of relevant work (not exceeding 2 MB each)

Support: ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD: We offer free main meals and lodging to the selected artists. You will live in a shared house in the village. This place will also serve as our hub for meals, presentations and social gatherings. Cooking will be a communal effort and the main meals are shared, and at the biennales cost. At this time we can not offer payment or support for travel to the artists, however we are applying for funding from local and national sources.

Program Description:

Open Call: Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale 2018
The 6th Interdisciplinary, Site-Specific, Land Art Biennale at Kjerringøy in Northern Norway

Time of the Biennale: 03.08 - 12.08 2018
Application deadline for proposals is the 20th of August 2017.

Artists working in any media are invited to apply and make place-specific land art projects in the stunning region of Kjerringøy during the week of Friday the 03rd August through Sunday the 12th August 2018. Participants must commit to being on location during the full length of the time period.
WHO CAN APPLY: Artists from different disciplines are invited to create art in and of nature. We encourage interactive work and collaborative projects and also welcome musicians and sound artists, dancers or movement artist, storytellers and writers to apply.
