Eligibility: The residency program is open to all artist using photography as main medium for their practice.

Support: Meliggoi Residency Program provides a one time grant of 500€ at the beginning of the residency program, free food and accommodation in the village of Meliggoi, a small studio with wifi

Costs: Free to apply. There are not extra costs involved.The selected artist is free to use the provided grand of 500€ for travel, production or any other costs


Program Description:

PHOTO MELIGGOI is a new residency program that will offers the opportunity to one emerging photographer to spend 20 days in July 2017 in Meliggoi, Greece. The selected artist will have to create a new body of work in response to the cultural context of Meliggoi village and Dodoni province. The residency is also supported by PHOTOMETRIA photography festival in Ioannina and the produced body of work will be displayed during the next edition of the festival (2018).
Submissions considered for the residency program may come from all form of photography with no restrictions in terms of techniques or approaches. We are looking for proposal project that showing an interest in producing a new body of work that has strong relevance to the place and want to challenge the representation of the area.
