Holes in the Wall Collective Summer Open Residency – three day and week long

Duration: Four Day or One Week

Eligibility: All Creatives Welcome to Apply- cross discilinary artists, activists, educators, scientists and mathmaticians, performers, film-makers, writers, new media artists, painters, dancers, thinkers and tinkerers. You are all welcome here.

Support: Holes in the Wall Collective stives to stike a balence between accessibility and sustainability. All residency costs go directly to the continuation of Holes in the Wall programming and help us to cover the basic costs of running a space for artists and non-identified artists alike. All residency costs include room, the use of the kitchen + kitchen basics like flour, sugar, oils, spices and condiments. Holes in the Wall also provides coffee (we are coffee nerds), tea and poping corn.

Costs: Holes in the Wall is offering a three tier price option this summer. You will not be treated any differently based on what option you choose - this is designed to increase access to our residency. Three Rates, subsidize or be subsidized. $45/night - subsidized rate, $60/night - regular rate, $75 - sustaining rate.


Program Description:

Come work on your work - solo or with collaborators. Creatives across disciplines welcome.

Open Residencies are an affordable chance to get away from your daily grind and carve out a slice of time for you. Shared and individual space for productivity, reflection and work. Designed for those of you unable to leave your life for long periods of time -- a chance to focus in, finish that project, find your inspiration, change your normal.

The Holes in Wall Collective Creative Residency Program is designed to span across many mediums and designations of creativity. Holes in the Wall Collective strives to expand the notion of creativity in addition to holding space for more defined forms of creative practice.

We welcome all creatives to apply.

Expanding our residency to those working in science, policy, economics, mathematics, education, research, activism, pedagogy, technology in addition to the more known forms of creative practice in the visual arts, writing, performance & music. We invite people across disciplines to engage with their practice and share collective space.

Big projects. Small Projects. Collaborations. Solo work.

Each participant will have a private room with work space, use of kitchen and access to 29 acres for walks and reflection.

Three Rates, subsidize or be subsidized. $45/night - subsidized rate, $60/night - regular rate, $75 - sustaining rate.
