Eligibility: The Dreamfarm Creative Residency Program is open to emerging and established practitioners, both Australian and international, working with any creative medium or project. This program is also suitable for collaborative group residencies.
Support: We provide studio accommodation space, three meals daily and opportinities to host performances or exhibitions. We have a limited number of scholarships which cover 50% of studio fees (see below).
Costs: Between $400 - $620 AUD per week depending on the chosen space. This price includes all meals. Self-funded applicants may apply for a Dreamfarm Scholarship which covers 50% of studio fees.
A self-directed program, the Dreamfarm Creative Residency is a time for research, experimentation, development, growth and the production of new work.
Dreamfarm hosts Creative Residencies during specific months of the year. In 2017 you are welcome to apply for our September, October and November residencies. The application deadline is one month before the residency begins.

All creative projects are considered, and we encourage work that explores a connection between creativity and the natural environment, or which drives positive social change.
FACILITIES & RESOURCES:
- Accommodation & studio space.

- Use of shared spaces including library, lounge, workshop, open studio and patio.
- Use of all creative materials, instruments and equipment that we have available.
- Acres of edible gardens, native bushland and river frontage to explore, outdoor creative projects welcome.
- Beautiful valley views and proximity to wilderness nature trails.
- Opportunity to host performances or exhibitions on site.
- Option to participate in other activities happening at Dreamfarm, such as yoga and dance classes.
This expansive wooden studio has the most wonderful views of the valley. The room has extensive living and working space, panorama windows and a long balcony. This space is ideal for visual and performing artists, musicians, bands or those wishing to make use of their own large, private, indoor space. Dimensions: 8.5m x 5m. Accommodates 1 - 4 people.
THE WOODBOX RETREAT
Encircled by beautiful Tasmanian Oak, this upstairs room is spacious and cozy, perfect for conjuring up new ideas. Gallery lighting and a roof skylight provide a great setting to write, draw, design, and work late into the night. Dimensions: 6m x 4m. Accommodates 1 person.
THE ARTIST'S REST
For those whose projects suit a small space or who wish to work in the communal areas or outdoors, we suggest the Artist’s Rest. This comfortable bedroom fills up with morning sunlight. Dimensions: 3.5m x 4m. Accommodates 1 - 2 people.
This first floor self-contained unit would suit a couple, group or collaborative project, or those wanting more privacy. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, an open lounge area with kitchenette, wood heater, private bathroom and a balcony from which to soak up the views. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it a great option for those who require self catering.
