Bolu artist-in-residence program is a two weeks residency organized by AmongOtherThings. It will take place in October 2010 followed by an exhibition in Istanbul, which will consist of the works produced during this two weeks time. We aim to bring together emerging artists from various cultures and provide a working and living environment which will allow artists to interact with each other and with the members of AmongOtherThings.
We believe that the space which the residency will take place is an important aspect of this program. Bolu is a city which is two hours distant by car from Istanbul. Although it is not far from a metropolis with a population of 14 million, Bolu is known with its impressive nature and wild forests. The residency will take place in a 31 acre ranch area beside the forests of West Black Sea region, which will allow the residency artists to interact with the unique environment in the process of producing their works.

- Transportation of the artists and the works from Istanbul to Bolu and vice versa
- Accommodation in Bolu during the residency
