Oregon College of Art & Craft- Junior Residency – Deadline Mar 1, 2010

The Oregon College of Art and Craft Junior Residency is a sixteen-week fellowship program designed to encourage outstanding emerging artists to pursue a focused project in a stimulating art environment. OCAC offers residencies that rotate through each of the studios: book arts, ceramics, drawing/performing, fibers, metals, photography, and wood.
Junior residents receive housing on campus (for residents only, no spouses or pets); a $1,200 fellowship; up to $500 reimbursement for travel to and from; up to $500 for materials; and up to $100 for shipping their completed work. Residents may not accept competing employment during the residency.
Artists working in the media defined during the current open cycle are welcome to apply for the junior residency. US citizens or permanent residents only. The College defines emerging artists as post-graduates (post-MFA preferred) with less than 5 years experience as an exhibiting artist.

Deadline for 2010/2011 Junior Residency; all materials must be received by March 1, 2010.
