Fashion show, BRNX! FSHN! REVOLUTION! w/ Walter Steinacher

With RU support, Walter Steinacher (Austria) realized Bronx!Fashion! Revolution!, a fashion show that took place at RU inside the church that he realized with teenagers from Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education’s after school program in the South Bronx. Steinacher (aka Kevin Klein) worked with these kids to create a new label of clothes that consisted in revamping their old clothes. Through this process, the kids questioned their relationship with brands and an alienating consumerist culture.
