Ana Bilankov – New Town Future Film

Ana Bilankov's "New Town Future Film", a short film based off footage taken over two years around the industrial areas surrounding the Newtown Creek. The creelis one of the countries most polluted bodies of water, after years of chemical dumping and an oil spill in the earlier part of the 20th century.

RU identified the location for Bilankov's project in 2013, and assisted her with logistics during her night shoots.
