Founder/Director

Before co-founding Residency Unlimited, Sebastien worked at Location One, where he was the coordinator of the international residency program from 2004 to 2009.

After completing a preparatory year at the Academie Julien (ESAG) in 1997, Sebastien received a BFA from the Ecole de Beaux-Arts de Montpellier District in Montpellier, France (EBAMDA).

Since his arrival in New York in 2001, Sebastien has been closely involved with the development of the artist-run non-profit arts organization Flux Factory, organizing its exhibitions program. With Flux Factory, Sebastien has collaborated in group projects with institutions such as the Queens Museum of Arts and the New Museum. He also maintains an ongoing collaboration with artist/filmmaker Marie Losier.
