Residency Unlimited is an artist-centered organization dedicated to producing customized residency formats to support the creation, presentation and dissemination of contemporary art through strategic partnerships with collaborating institutions. RU provides tailored support and services to emerging and mid-career artists and curators that include enhanced networking opportunities, production and technical assistance, exhibition opportunities, on-line resources, art and public education programs. Operating across multiple platforms, RU is particularly committed to promoting multidisciplinary practices and to building lasting connections between residents and the broader arts community both locally and globally.

Incorporated in June 2009, Residency Unlimited was approved in October 2011 as an official 501 (c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States tax code.
