Residency Unlimited is a non-profit arts service organization whose mission is to support artists and curators in residency  by drawing from a broad network of local and international resources. We operate across multiple platforms and seek to explore new residency formats that go beyond the conventional circumscribed studio program model. We further our investigations through collaborative partnerships,  engaging with artists whose practice is not necessarily studio based and the development of an online platform for critical content on the evolving field of art residency. We believe in the transformational potential of residencies on creative development and their impact on local communities where those residencies exist.

Our objectives are :

*Enhance cultural exposure, networking and production opportunities for local and international artists, curators and critics
* Curate project-based residency programs
* Disseminate knowledge on the topic of art residency through our online archive of content and debate
* Facilitate international mobility and exposure for local  artists by operating as a global connective platform

Residency Unlimited Inc. is incorporated since June 2009, as not-for-profit corporation under the laws of the State of New York and is applying to be recognized as a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States tax code.
